First printing. The author's first book, a hard-boiled novel about the manager of a Mexico City gambling casino - Waer's own occupation in Las Vegas: "Jim Foster, manager of gambling casinos and an honest man in a dubious profession, transfers his curious talents to Mexico City . . .
