Description:
[New York]: The Living Theatre, 1951. First Edition. Staplebound. Very good-. Octavo, 16pp. About very good in the publisher's textured paper wraps, stapled, as issued. A stain on the rear wrapper has affected the last several leaves, but not atrociously, and there is very mild foxing, but otherwise, this is a sound example. Uncommon program for this Rexroth play, directed by Julian Beck. The program contains brief essays by Harold Norse and Paul Goodman, as well as a poem by Oscar Williams. Among the earliest ephemeral items related to the Living Theatre, one of New York's most accomplished experimental theatre companies, and also an early Rexroth item.
