Illustrated with 143 reproductions in color and black and white. Library stamp on several pages, previous owner bookplate on front paste-down endpaper. Split to endpapers at hinge of front and back of book, but hinges are structurally sound. Two corners worn through cloth, and two-inch split to cloth at top edge of spine, where it meets front cover. Text block tight and bright. 6 1/4 x 8 3/4 inches. 300 pages.

Old repair to half title (likely when rebound), some light spotting but contents generally clean, edges spotted, binding pleasingly aged with spine sunned and corners a little bumped. Very good.
