Particularly well preserved copy in hardcover 16mo. format, bound attractively in publisher's original brown cloth, with blind-stamped designs front and rear, gilt-stamped title and design to front cover. New endpapers, very lightly toned interior, nearly pocketbook-sized. Ink entries on memoranda pages. At head of title-page: No. 12, v. III. 190 pp. and with publisher's advertisement. Type founding, stereotyping, and printing by Dickinson & Co., Boston. Only the faintest of rubbing to exterior.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.

[2], 3-95, [1] pp. Brown pebbled blindstamped cloth with a gold decoration on the front board, stab-stitching on the spine. Blue endpapers and pastedowns with four sample business cards laid down, an advertisement for S.N. Dickinson's rotary press and his business card printing operation. With a double-page map of Boston and several charts. Contains lists of insurance companies, courts, banks, and societies dedicated to pursuing causes like temperance that were located in Boston. Typographic societies are advertised, as well as a list of events for each month in Boston in the year 1839. A beautiful example of a charming, bright almanac. A Near Fine book with just a touch of foxing to the fore-edge and minor toning to the edge of the business cards on the rear pastedown.
