The book has considerable edgewear and finger soil, old internal tape repairs to rear hinge, front free endpaper removed, endpapers, outer edges and half-title all age-speckled, some finger soil to margins, no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket has some age-yellowing to the white background of the rear panel and flaps, edgewear, old tape reinforcement to some areas of the reverse side, very minor chipping with fairly little paper loss.. Hard Cover. Fair/Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

Older owner name stamp (with an imprecation upon book thieves), else about fine in a modestly rubbed, very good dustwrapper with shallow chipping at the spine ends. The memory of a beautiful Mexican girl lures a cowboy south of the border. A genuine cowboy in his younger years, Seltzer was considered one of the best western writers. Many of his western novels were filmed, but apparently dialogue wasn't his strong suit - all the films were made in the silent era, even though he continued to write until his death in 1942.
