Originally the text appeared in Rootabaga Stories in the 1930s, but this modern rendition is totally lovely. Lightest soil to covers.

In custom made clamshell box.

Jacket has all 4 flap corners with shallow clips and is just slightly sun faded at spine. Superficial shelf rubbing to jacket extremities and a light vertical stress crease to the rear flap. Quarter yellow cloth backed spine and green cloth sides bold and bright. Faint offset toning to the verso of the half title page where a clipping has some time been laid in. Handsome clean copy and uncommon thus, especially so signed. NF/VG+; Signed by Author .
