His best known work is Gargantua and Pantagruel. With additional explanatory notes by M. Le du Chat, among others. In quarter calf bindings. Externally, sound with some bumping. Personal bookplate to front pastedown of each volume. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright with scattered spots. Very Good
