GB: Longman, Hurst ..., 1817. Small paper subscriber's copy. 462/500 copies. Half white leather over marbled boards (bound by Caldwell of Dublin). Marbled endpapers. Frontispieces of Northumberland and Puckle and illustrated throughout text (twenty or so vignettes). Top edge gold. Moderately heavy spotting to first 20 or so leaves but hardly any to remainder of book. Damp mark to top edge of first ten or so leaves. Leather is rather grubby in places and extremities of covers bit rubbed. Contents generally clean and tight. . 1st Thus. Hardback. Good/No DW.

This copy Satin (Mounted on Imperial) of which is one of only 7 produced from a limited edition of 735 produced in various forms. Blue Morocco, 5 raised bands, Gilt embellishments and titles.
