Cream cloth lettered on spine and front cover in dark brown. Modern wine labels have been pasted to the blank ends and blank portion of half titles within each volume; slight soiling to covers. With the exceptions noted, a fine set of these useful reference volumes. Three of the most important reference works on nineteenth century lithography, in a very affordable format (the original volumes would reach a few thousand dollars).
