Book #12 in the original boys' series of 13 books published 1922-1930 featuring the adventures of Pee Wee Harris & his fellow Boy Scouts in the fictional Troop 1 of Bridgeboro, New Jersey (loosely based on a character from the author's hometown of Hackensack). A 1929 FIRST EDITION, First Printing (listing to Self in rear), this hardcover 8vo has tan cloth over boards, stamped with red lettering to front cover & black to spine. In 215 pages with glossy frontispiece + 3 internals + ads for other series in rear. Condition is Good: moderate rubbing/spotting to exterior, bumping to both ends of spine & all corners. Binding strong, but shaken. Cloth at front joint is starting to fray & split. Hinges secure, pages lightly tanned, commensurate with age.
