London, 1951.. XIV OLYMPIAD LONDON 1948. SIGNED BY CHARLES C. WILCOTT LISTED IN THE INDEX AS TAKING PART IN RAPID SHOOTING. Thick 4to, approximately 290 x 220 mm, 11½ x 8½ inches, 580 pages, portrait frontispiece of King George VI, many action photographic illustrations, original publisher's dark green cloth, gilt lettering to spine, gilt lettering and picture to upper cover. Slight rubbing to cloth binding, gilt lettering faded on spine, pale foxing to endpapers, otherwise a very good copy. Charles C. Wilcott's ink signature on endpaper and title page.
