Each gathering is loose and within it the double leaves are also loose - this is all as it is supposed to be. The wrappers contain all of this - something like a manila folder might. However, they are frail paper and are worn and split right along the spine - again, imagine a manila folder in two pieces, detached at the spine. There is also a small chip at the top of the spine. Wrappers split and worn at spine; internally near fine.

Brown morocco quarter leather with gilt title & device on spine, linen boards. Cloth a bit marked, lower spine bumped o/w a nice copy.
