Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards. Light wear to the corners and spine ends. Text block edges are lightly toned. Previous owner had taped several newsclippings to the rear endpapers, which have become detached and left tape shadow marks. Clippings have been left laid in. Otherwise, the inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has heavy edge wear; including small and large chips, short and long tears, and creases. One long tear has been cello tape reinforced on reverse side. A few tiny holes in the spine. Light soil overall. Jack Miner's story of his bird sanctuary and knowledge of and relationship with birds. Illustrated with black and white photographs. .

A very good copy of this rare book. The dust jacket has a chip at the top. The pages are clean and the binding is tight. Illustrated throughout with B & W pictures. There are 302 pages. A must for the bird enthusiast. See my other bird books listed.
