No ownership marks. Endpapers discreetly repaired at gutters with laid paper. Minor offset browning to endpapers. Worm damage to outer margin from p. 327 of vol. II to end of vol., mostly pinprick holes except final 7 leaves, not affecting text. Index and advertising leaf to rear of vol. II. 6 plates (3 per vol.), including frontis port of Milton at age 21, as called for.
