Presented as a wedding invitation for the fictional characters portrayed by Saval and Poiret, cursive font on lightweight card stock, with a laid-in list of starring actors appearing at the Cine Le Rex for the November 16 premiere. Based on Annette Wademant's screnplay, one of twelve written by Wademant for director Boisrond. Resembling the star biography and film credit packets seen with US press kits, this material details film credits, cast and crew biographies, and a synopsis. Based on Annette Wademant's screnplay, one of twelve written by Wademant for director Boisrond. Bernard (Poiret) is a new publisher who falls in love with Sophie (Saval), an affair that nearly destroys them. Cinedis was prominent during the heyday of French New Wave, distributing and promoting some of the era's greatest films, including "Jules and Jim," "Le Trou," "The Gates of Paris," even the popular "Don Camillo" series starring Fernandel. 10 leaves, corner-stapled printed rectos, on Cinedis parchment paper, mimeograph duplication.
