Beautifully illustrated with full page colour illustrations. Book is bright and clean inside with some surface loss to front endpaper where it looks as if the inside flap of the dustwrapper has been stuck to endpaper causing some surface loss to the flap also some remains of preevious owners inscription SEE IMAGE. A few very small occassional marks on a few pages very minor.Dustwrapper has a couple of small losses see image and a couple of small tears, some light marking to rear, Wrapper is not price clipped and has price 2/6 net on inside front flap. Tiny bump at head of spine, no inscriptions, small crease to lower corner of 1 text page. A near Fine clean copy in VG DUSTWRAPPER with blank flaps (dw: head and tail of spine and corners slightly worn, 15 mm (¾") split at top of lower hinge, another larger split to top of lower fold, both mended on reverse with transparent tape, minute chip to lower edge of upper panel, 4 mm (¼") chip to lower edge of lower panel, slight creasing near top of lower panel). Red boards with colour vignette and titles. Also contains: THE DIAMOND RING AFFAIR. Spine and corners slightly bumped, slightly torn at base of spine. Writing erased from front endpaper and book list at rear. A couple of small margin marks else contents clean. Wrapper is worn at folds with slight loss at corners and closed tears at spine and rear fold.
