New York and London: HarperCollins and MacMillan and William Heinemann, 1992. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/fine. Sold here as a set are first editions of the first twenty mystery novels by Donna Leon. All set in Italy and starring her protagonist Guido Brunetti. The first three books in the series, Death At La Fenice, Death In A Strange Country and Dressed For Death (a.k.a. The Anonymous Venetian) were published in the US by HarperCollins. All of the remaining titles were published in London either by MacMillan or William Heinemann. All told, twenty novels published between 1992 and 2011. All but three of the titles have been SIGNED by the author (the three exceptions are La Fenice, Dressed For Death and Acqua Alta). All twenty volumes are in lovely near fine to fine condition in fine unclipped dustwrappers.
