The Preble pages are good+ with just some light occasionally foxing and some light stains, primarily at edges. No rips, tears or chipping. No repairs. The rear fold-out large US map has tears and damage to the bottom sections. Front cover is stamped in blind with center gilt stamped title block. Cloth covers are worn and faded. Front hinge has a thin crack. Atlas contains 24 colored maps and plans; a large folding map of Ohio; and United States Railroad map. The map of Ohio has a closed tear on a center fold intersection with no loss of content. Another tear bottom center fold intersection of the U.S. map with no loss of content. Rest of maps are in good condition with occasional light scattered toning and spots in the margins and on the versos. Light edge wear at the bottom folds for 2 folding maps. On the right front end sheet is an inscription "Sallie L. M. Kempel's Atlas of Preble County Ohio Presented by her Mother May 1884. Prymount Montgomery County Ohio - H H.
