Fairhaven on front paste down. 24mo. 140m. Original full green cloth binding. Spine and front board decorated and embossed in gold. Front board has an oval white title label bordered by a heavy gold decoration. Extremities slightly rubbed. Hardbound. Very good. Joseph Rudyard Kipling (1865-1936) was an English poet, short-story writer, and novelist who is now chiefly remembered for: his celebration of British imperialism; tales and poems of British soldiers in India; and his tales for children.
