A tight near fine copy in illustrated paper covered boards with some slight sunning to the spine and in a near fine slipcase with minor wear and some slight sunning to the aperture as well. Still, a pleasing copy of this terrific collaboration.

First edition first printing of this short story that was produced in co operation of the Whitney Museum of American Art. Illustrated by Barbara Krueger. Lightly bumped on the top left hand corner of the slip case and lightly bumped on the top outside edge of the front board. No dustjacket as issued. In near fine / in near fine slip case.

This is the sixth of the Artists and Writers Series published by the Library Fellows of the Whitney Museum. The lithographs were printed by Maurice S·nchez at DerriËre Lí…toile Studios, and the the silkscreens were printed by Pinwheel, New York. The text was set by hand in Century Schoolbook and printed at A.Colish under the supervision of Jerry Kelly. This artistís book combines Kingís short story about the perception and experience of time with Krugerís overlaid images of horses and riders. The images contain a small photograph of a hand holding a stopwatch punctuated by one or two words which together spell ìTime ainít got nothing to do with how fast you can countî.
