Methuen & Co. Ltd. London. 1930. REPRINT OF THE 1927 PAYNE EDITION. 8vo. (7.7 x 6.1 inches). Illustrated with 20 full page plates by Payne, line drawings with yellow colouring. Fore-edge and the first few pages affected by some very light foxing, otherwise a very good copy of this attractive edition. Publishers orange cloth with black lettering to the spine and front board. Small gilt stamped school badge to the front board. School prize label, dated 1942, on the front free endpaper. In the scarce original colour illustrated dustwrapper. A couple of small chips to the edge of the wrapper and the spine a bit toned but overall in very good condition.
