There is offsetting to the pastedowns & endpapers from the dust jacket & the top corner of the front endpaper is clipped. Good. <p>First edition in Dutch.<p>Translated into Dutch by Jan Frits Kliphuis who also translated Sons and Lovers, The Thin Red Line, From Here to Eternity and Mary McCarthy's The Group.<p>The typography is by Ad Werner. The preliminaries, printed in blue & black, are particularly attractive. The title page consists of the full-page Dutch symbol for "paragraph" filled in with a repetition of the words of the title.<p>Rare. No copies of this Scheltens & Giltay edition are found in WorldCat.
