Engraved title page and 7, often bizarre, plates. Vol. III: vi, [ii], 364 pages. Portrait frontis plus 5 engraved plates. All plates present as called for plus engraved head and tail-pieces throughout. Some gatherings stand slightly proud from main body of text but this is a remarkably clean, fresh and sound set of this famous collection of myths, legends, ghost stories and poetry collected by Barham.
