At the back there is a further 100 pages of period advertisements being a business directory and shopping guide. Spine sunned and chipped. Internally very good throughout.

Harper (1863–1943), with an index of the inns to the rear of the volume. Harper was well-known as a travel writer who illustrated his own work, as he does in this volume with 47 pen and ink drawings. 100 pages of advertisements to the rear. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally fairly smart, with some small faint marks to the boards and fading to the spine. Minor shelf wear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, except for some underlining to the index with coloured pencil. Very Good
