Description:
The late Jack Glover ran the Sunset Trading Post in Montague County, Texas. He also published the Bobbed' Wire Gazette and who knows what else. He talked a lot about the old west and made friends with everybody. The Sunset Trading Post was on the highway from Ft. Worth to Wichita Falls. Inside there was the Wild West Museum. He charged you 50 cents to get in. This is a book of letters to him: from a couple of ex U S Presidents to regular folks. The common denominator is that each letter has a drawing. The book is the hardback edition and has a sticker that says that this copy is number 80 of 100 Limited Edition copies. I did make Jack Glover's acquaintance a few times and it's possible that he put that sticker on every book he ever sold. The sticker, inscription and signature are on the front free end page. "Old Ornery, Jack Glover".
