Rubbed on all corners and edges, illustrated endpapers have spots and foxing, but interior pages are mostly clean and bright - a few closed tears and light soiling but not bad. Keith Ward went on to illustrate some of the Walter Farley Black Stallion books. First edition with notatio of 10MA-30 and publisher m ark on copyright page. 110 pages.. Spine ends and corners a bit worn, edges a bit rubbed, some light soiling and stains to front cover, minute traces of hand-soiling in a few page margins, else an internally clean, tight copy.
