Hackney: A.T. Roberts, Son & Co. , 1893. First Edition. Brown Cloth. Good Plus/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" Small. N/a. 288pp. 1893. First edition. 4to. sized. No inscriptions. Original publisher's brown cloth - gilt embossed to the spine and stamped in black to the front board. Black endpapers. Tissue-guarded frontispiece of the author. Some moisture damage to the upper 2 board corners - more noticable to the rear one with slight associated marking to the upper corners of the endpapers and still less so to the extreme upper corners of the last 3 leaves. A good plus or very good minus essentially clean, tight copy of this the first edition.
