Oblong quarto, [24] cloth pages, printed on linen, with serrated top and bottom edges, multi-colored cloth spine slightly worn; inked presentation in 1941 to Peter MacLeish With 27 charming, naif, blockprints, with French text, of the opening lines of the Book of GENESIS, describing the Creation of the World, with Adam & Eve. Bound in pictorial linen folded around cardboard insert and stitch-bound, batik print illustrations with hand-drawn lettering.
