Included with the book is a SIGNED letter from the author addressed to the previous owner who, judging from the letter's contents, was involved in publishing another of the author's books. Book is a 6th Printing in Fair condition. The board edges are heavily dust-stained. The dj remains in very poor condition, and is in three pieces. The interior is clean and the binding is tight.

Inscribed "Don Blanding for James Stevens 1935 Aloha!" Lightly toned, spine rubbed and worn, edges gently bent: Very Good. Includes the poems "Memory Room," "Spring Cleaning," and "Epitaph." Don Blanding (1894-1957) gained popularity as a poet by publishing daily poem-advertisements in the Honolulu Star Bulletin for two years in the 1920s, before transitioning to mainstream publications. He illustrated his own work, as well as designing tableware for Vernon Kilns.
