Just a touch of shelf/edge wear to tan cloth boards with dark blue titles - corners sharp. Lightly faded black topstain. Just a touch of shelf/edge wear and and one small chip to original unclipped DJ - now in mylar. (DJ lists to this title). Orange and white illustrated endpapers. No previous owner markings - all pages are clean and unmarked and toned (wartime paper). Illustrations for DJ and frontispiece by I. B. Hazelton. This copy is Binding variant 2 per Mattson, Format 2 per Axe. (tan cloth, plain frontispiece).
