Eindstation Auschwitz; 1946. Eddy de Wind. Published and printed in the Netherlands. Text in the original Dutch language. First edition, first print. Very rare. Pp 195. Pages are tanned after 75 years with paper of that period. Ex Libris H Moscoviter on the first page. No inscriptions. Some wear of the boards. At the end of the book is The Report of the State Committee of the USSR of investigation of circumstances of concentration-camp Oswiecim ( Auschwitz).
Eliazar (Eddy) de Wind (Den Haag, 6 februari 1916 – Amsterdam, 27 september 1987) was a Dutch doctor and psychiatrist of Jewish birth. De Wind was a surviver of the Holocaust in the concentration-camp Auschwitz in Poland.
Eddy de Wind went first to the deportation-camp Westerbork in the Netherlands as a volunteer to help the (Jewish) people that were transported from here to the concentration-camps in the east.
