Endpapers lightly and partially browned and exhibiting the faint ghost of an almost entirely erased former owner name. A remarkably crisp and bright copy in very good non-price-clipped dust wrapper, with just the tiniest fraction of loss to head of spine panel. 1,250 copies were printed, 450 of which were reserved for the US edition which was issued the following year by Scribners.
