Los Angeles: Floyd Clymer, 1962. First Printing. Wraps. Good. Each 11 x 8.5 inches, wraps, good to very good, light wear, rubbing, 1952 with some taping along bottom edge, texts clean and unmarked, with ownership signature in each of Turrie Chiavetta (a sprint car racer from McKees Rocks, PA, d. 2012), and the 1949 yearbook signed on the cover by Jack Ventura, a veteran Indy crewman who worked under George Salih. A nice run of the first years of Clymer's annual year book; he published a comprehensive history in 1946, and his first "yearbook" was the 1946 supplement to that history. The history plus the first few yearbooks were paginated contiguously, such that 1949 ends on p. 532. Starting with the 1950 yearbook, Clymer dramatically expanded the scope of the books and started with fresh pagination for each. All of the pre-1950 yearbooks are very scarce in the trade and with relatively few holdings in libraries.
