A selection of Diary entries dated 1778 - 1839 and first published first published in seven volumes 1842-46. This Everyman's Library edition first published 1940; 1966 reprint thus. Hardcover in black cloth with gilt titling to the spine. Top edge dyed. Includes an Index. Square, firmly bound and with very little wear, this copy is very good or better. The dust jacket has a little more wear, particularly to the lower front where some of the pigment has been stripped off as if it stuck to something adhesive like tape, but it is otherwise well-preserved and very good.
