Exterior shows some spotting and soiling, gilt on spine is dulled. The internal binding is good though there is some pulling in spots. Illustrated throughout with photographs, all of which have been verified as being present. The copyright page shows single publication date of May, 1904. This book came from the collection of Miss Sallie E. Robinson, who was a very prominent African-American from the Philadelphia area, and her signature appears on the rear pastedown. No other handwriting noted, no bookplates, no library markings etc.
