Very Good. 0x0x0. 1837 ed., leather-bound, 12mo; "Boston Stereotype Edition;" 276 p., plus 27 full-page plates, clean and unmarked--except for former owner's names on back end page and with pencilled price of $80 on top edge of ad in front (7 p. of ads); frontis. shows "Variations of Day & Night and the Seasons;" binding firm; leather is scuffed and chipped at edges but restorable, gilt lettering on black patch on spine is legible; despite great age of paper it is remarkably strong and only mildly-age-toned though foxed. Fading ink stain on lower front paste-down and smudges on lower edges of first ads.
