Spine a bit faded, binding tight. In original paper dust jacket which has some edgewear and small chipping at head of spine. Jacket is in a mylar protector. [see my photo]

London: The Blackamore Press, 1930. Limited edition.. Hardback. Very good/No dust jacket. Slipcase fair. The Blackamore Press, London, 1930. First English edition. Limited to 400 copies of which this is no 153. Hardback. 8vo. 126pp. Book condition: very good. Just very slight shelf wear around the edges. Spine very slightly discoloured. Gilt titles to spine and facsimile signature in gilt to front all bright. Top edge gilt. Internally, the book is very clean with just a little light tanning to the free endpapers. No dust jacket. The book has a blue slip case which is in fair condition. Upper edge splitting to approx three-quarters of its length on one side. Corners a little bumped and rubbed. No 153 in ink to upper edge (presumably the limited edition number). Illustrations reproducing Baudelaire's drawings. Translated by Christopher Isherwood with an introduction by T. S. Eliot. A very nice copy.
