The present work is a practical guide to yoga, with instructions on its use for spiritual purposes. The first proofs for the work arrived with Crowley on 9 March 1939. Louis Fox and his wife Lilian make regular appearances in Crowley's diaries of the late 1930s, often as a dinner companions, and frequently with favourable comments on Louis's food: "Louis Fox.
