Illustrated endpapers. Description: The Grosset and Dunlap reprints of Terhune's dog stories were issued in two different formats. The earlier issue was done in cloth with the head of a collie blind stamped on the front cover. The endpapers for that series featured two dogs on the left hand page with a stream or road separating them from a single 'windswept' collie on the right hand side. This listing is for a copy from the later series issue which featured dust jackets by noted wildlife artist Bob Kuhn. The binding was either solid color cloth or 'tweed' with a vignette of two collies running.
