Vastly entertaining and insightful pictorial history of transvestism and drag in all walks of life, both gay and straight by the noted British author. Includes chapters on the history and culture of this colorful and entertaining to many obseesion from ancient Greece and Rome to contemporary times. Illustrated with 146 b&w photos and illustrations + biblio. Small remainder mark to the bottom edge and there is a small faint (I didn't notice it when I bougth it) damp spot to the bottom corner of the back endsheet which is lightly mirrored to some pgs. Vg+/fine.
