About This Item

Secaucus, New Jersey: Castle Books, 1963. Hardcover. Very good/Very good. Reprint. Inscribed and dated by Henry Miller on the front flyeaf. Miller's second published book, which is dedicated to Anais Nin. Continuing the subversive self-revelation begun in Tropic of Cancer (1934), Miller takes readers along a mad, free-associating journey from the damp grime of his Brooklyn youth to the sun-splashed cafes and squalid flats of Paris. Octavo: 243 p. Original light brown paper-covered boards, with a red stamping. Light foxing along the edges, with some bumping to the corners and tips. The dust jacket is a bit shelfworn; otherwise very good.
