Limp green leather covers are yapped (extend beyond the body of the book) and are lightly tanned to brown at edges and at spine. Brown leahter spine and cover labels with gilt lettering, green silk string bookmark. Green silk inside front and back covers. Contains frontis portrait with tissue guard and 23 additional illustrations with tissue guards. Text tight, clean, and unmarked. Top edge gilt, pages have fore and bottom edges rough-cut. Front end paper has note by previous owner describing family association.; B&W Illustrations; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 497 pages .
