Octavo (9.75" x 6.75"), [17] & 6 - 733 pages (as issued), with numerous full page illustrations by Charles Reid. Publisher's full brown/ brick leather, the spine in five compartments separated by raised bands, elaborately lettered & decorated in gilt. All edges gilt, ribbon marker sewn in, moire fabric endpapers.
A Fine & apparently unread copy.
A nice copy of Stegner's semi autobiographical novel originally published in 1943.
