Green cloth boards with white and green lettering on spine and front board. 4 color illustrations by J.N. Marchand present. 489 pp 8vo. Front board loose but binding tight. This book by Margaret Hill McCarter is a little love story of the prairies is dedicated to all who believe that the defense of the helpless is heroism; that the protection of the home is splendid achievement; and, that the storm, and stress, and patient endurance of the day will bring us at last to the peace of the purple twilight. A clean very presentable copy.
