Munich: University of Munich, 1851. unbound. very good. Exceedingly rare partly-printed document signed: 1 page, folio, Munich, August 17, 1851, an ornate Graduation Certificate for a student attending the University of Munich Polytechnic School, signed 'Prof. Dr. Ohm', as the Royal Ministerial Commissioner for Examinations. Fine, dark signature and in very good condition with some tiny tears along the right blank margin. Accompanied by a small black and white portrait of Ohm on a separate sheet. *At the time he signed this certificate, Ohm was also Extraordinary Professor of Physics at the University of Munich.<br/> <br/> German physicist and mathematician whose experiments using Alessandro Volta's new electrochemical cell led to his discovery of Ohm's Laws.<br/> <br/>
