Weight: 2 lbs. 14 oz, Very Solid, clean, bright and well-illustrated 19th century Bible for young--and old--with around 300 B&W engravings (plates and in-text images).<br /> <br /> Apart from 3 clustered spots of foxing on the title page (showing through to the copyright page), there isn't any foxing on other pages or plates, which remain clean and quite bright. Uniform light age-toning. Gilt on spine and page edges (a.e.g.) remains bright. Moderate wear to the decorative cloth with most appearing at edges, corners, and top & bottom of spine.
