Good/No Jacket. 5" x 7 1/2. 249 pages and 18 chapters: The Varsity Captain, A Great Arm, Prisoner of the Sophs, The Call for Candidates, The Cage, Out OnThe Field, Annihilation, Examinations, President Halstead on College Spirit, New Players, State Uiversity Game, Ken Clashes with Graves, Friendship, The Herne Game, A Matter of Principle, The First Place Game, Ken's Day and Breaking Training. Original copyright date 1911 with Harper code B-U on copyright page. Spine cocked slightly and hinges a little loose. Some soiling and wear around edges and bumped corners. Lower half of back cover shows wear. Illustrated with drawings. Owner's name on front endpaper. A few pages have small light stains but practically all pages are tight and clean while some are age tanned near the edges. Tan boards with black lettering with front cover decorated with figure of a baseball pitcher.
