About This Item
First edition, first impression. Signed and inscribed by the author in pencil to the front endpaper. Accompanied by a couple of letters written by the author's father, John Hilton.
Original orange cloth with lettering to spine in gilt. Previous owner name and date to front paste-down with some toning to edges. Binding a bit exposed at front endpaper. Some browning to front endpaper and to pages 14 and 15.
The original dust jacket has a few shallow chips and nicks to edges with some browning, most notably to spine panel. A good copy of a book that is seemingly rare signed with associated ephemera.
