Transworld Publishers / Corgi, London, 1962. First Edition. Softcover (Illustrated). Good Condition. Introduction by author and glossary. Colour illustrated paperback binding with white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. The author was 19 when he and his family were interred in the concentration camp Auschwitz; he alone survived. He was then sent to other slave labour camps and finally to Buchenwald. These are his memories. Creasing, multiple, to the book corners and there are reading creases to the back strip. A small chip to the top left-hand corner of the front panel. Heavy rubbing either side of the back strip and lighter rubbing of the book edges and panels. Tanning of the text block edges and pages. first edition by this publisher.
