Original full green pictorial cloth, spine and upper covers stamped gilt, dark green, yellow and brown (slight rubbing), all edges dark green, purple endpapers. Very good. 383 pages + 16 pages publisher's catalog at end. Pencil signature of Archie Reid, Oct. 5, 1894 on the page before half title. Printed by the Norwood Press, Boston. Notable for the illustrations of Peacock (1868-1946), famous English portrait and landscape painter, winner of the Creswick prize. Osborne Collection I, p. 356; Houfe, p. 412.
